A new hiding spot

27 weeks!

Many have been asking to see my progress....not just hear about it, so here you go :o)

I am feeling good and am doing a good job of behaving myself. This baby is constantly on the move(doing somersaults as I type this), just as Trystan was. I have past the point where I went into labor with Trystan, and now just need to make it past 29 weeks to pass the point where he was born. The surgery I had is definitely helping to make this possible! I have been having ultrasounds every 2 weeks to watch my progress, and so far, everything looks great. I had my regular OB appointment yesterday, and they have decided to take the stitches out WHEN I hit 36 weeks....not IF, WHEN :o) And then we wait...could be hours, days or weeks. My Dr. joked about how funny it would be if I went over 40 weeks and I told her it would not be funny at all as I am in Dusty's wedding on August 28th--just 20 days after my due date!
We are just so thankful for such a gracious and loving God! It is such a scary time, knowing all we went thru with Trystan, but know that HE has a plan for this special babe too. Trystan's life is a constant testimony to us and all those who prayed so earnestly for his life. To look at him now and think there was a time that we almost lost him is almost unfathomable. God gave us our 1st miracle baby, Trystan and we are excited to meet our next lil' miracle!

Remember this?

The love affair continues......

Trystan's Sandbox

Grampa Joel & Grama Deb came to the rescue this past weekend when I was in the hospital, and on the agenda was a sandbox for Trystan. He LOVES it and is not afraid to get dirty...what a true country boy. Now, if we can just convince Max, our big Weimaraner, that the sandbox is not for him...he loves to lay in the warm sand and become camouflage.
Check out our country boy!

Baby Update

These past 2 weeks have been a roller coaster to say the least, but all is well now and we pray it stays that way! On Saturday, I went into surgery to have my cervix stitched, as it was diminishing as it should when I am about to go into labor. They have been watching me very closely since I became pregnant and were hoping they could control the situation the conservative way..with shots and drugs. But, my body had another plan and is why my Dr.'s decided to perform the surgery. They let me go home on Sunday afternoon on very restricted activity, which is not easy for me since I am so active. I went in for another ultrasound yesterday and my cervix looks as it should so we are giving many thanks to God and my wonderful team of Dr.'s. I will go back in two weeks to see how I am progressing.
Many of our family and friends have stepped up to help us out and we couldn't be more appreciative. It will be a busy couple months ahead of us...but we will do what it takes to keep this little one in as long as possible!
Here are some pics of our little one at 23 weeks. Adorable! Can't wait (but I will be happy to wait) to touch those adorable toes!

No more duck?

It was a sad day on Friday, well so we thought. Trystan poked a hole in his bath duck, and the duck is no more. Well, at least for holding water. Before I had a chance to deflate it, he drug it out into the living room and had a ball with it as you can see. He is wearing his dad's favorite shirt....Conserve Water...Drink Chocolate Milk! Alex and I several times a day look at each other and ask if it is possible for Trystan to get any cuter...and every day he does! We can't wait to see what his sibling will look like!
